Kanga Training was established at Lake Las Vegas, in Henderson, Nevada, in August 2014. In more than a decade we have become a trusted training provider with many genuine 5* Google, Yelp and other reviews. Kanga Training was the Las Vegas/Henderson 2020, 2021, 2022 number 1 genuine 5* reviewed trainer.
Kanga Training Las Vegas was founded, and is run, by a female former law enforcement officer. She is the only former female law enforcement officer running such a business in Nevada.
She has combined a career in law enforcement, government public safety, with a career as a college faculty head, and public safety trainer. Her unique combination of skills and experience has provided many clients with a unique and memorable experience, based on the reality of walking the walk, rather than those who just talk the talk.
Kanga Training grew from the vision of the founder to fill a gap in the Las Vegas Concealed Firearm Permit, NRA Firearm Training, general firearm training, and self-defense training industry for highly engaging, entertaining, humorous, differentiated and inclusive, student led and responsive training, where no student would lack confidence in asking questions, or fail to become fully engaged and involved in the classroom.
One of the greatest pleasures for those involved in Kanga Training is the extremely high level of repeat clients. Many clients have taken training, a CCW, and or a renewal, and are now into their first and some their second renewal! We get to know many clients, and enjoy catching up and exchanging how our lives have changed between renewals!

At Kanga Training we believe that a properly delivered Concealed Firearm Permit, achieves everything from increased situational awareness, to increasing your freedom of choice to enjoy the world around you through the security provided by your ability to protect you and your family.
A well-structured course should make you think about when you personally will reach that trigger point where you will protect your life with deadly force, and mentally prepare, and intellectually provide you the knowledge in the law to know in your gut that you are doing the right thing, and at the right second, and are clear of any attached liability. It is only those who have sadly faced such decisions who possess the deep personal understanding of this decision. You can learn about it from books, then teach from theory, or you have had to live it, live with your decisions, knowing that you made the right choice.
